Steve Diskin

Steve earned a BA in Visual Studies and Masters in Architecture at Harvard, and a PhD at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. Starting his professional life as an architect in Tokyo, he later established an industrial design studio in Los Angeles. His HELIX clock is now in the permanent collection of the National Design Museum in New York. He has taught extensively, notably at Art Center in Los Angeles, and abroad in Switzerland, Germany, France, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Poland, Cyprus, Israel and Turkey. Steve was a Visiting Professor in Prague and Ljubljana prior to coming to Pratt. He has shot video documentaries, and published a children’s book about musical instruments.
